Founder | Video Producer, LaDonna Castro
I enjoy video production and editing because I love learning about places, people, and cultures through the eyes of the camera. As the Creator of LaDoMedia International, my goal is to assist people and organizations to create videos for various causes and events. When I was younger, I was always interested in the world so I opted a non-traditional education and chose to study abroad. After graduating high school in 1999, I lived in France as a Rotary Exchange student.
Thereafter, I returned to the States and enrolled in the “Global College Program” of Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York. Subsequently I have studied in Kyoto, Japan; San Jose, Costa Rica; Bahia, Brazil; and finally completed my senior year in London, England. I’ve studied in Cairo, Egypt and Dakar, Senegal where I completed my senior thesis, a video documentary titled, “Aswan Temples and the Nubians of Upper Egypt.” As a result of my travels, I’m proficient in five languages with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree from Long Island University. I'm happily married with three beautiful kiddos. And that's the story of my life!
